I really dig this picture of Dean Martin and his Stutz Blackhawk. Check out this link to see more pictures of him with his car. Man, I wish my parents had been the one to buy this car from him back in the mid-70's. Now that would be so cool to drive a car that was once owned and driven by Dean Martin himself.
Hey pallie Keith, how cool to see a classic standin' next to a classic..likes totally Dinocool....
ReplyDeleteTHANKS FOR POSTING THESE. I JUST LOVE PIC'S WITH DINO'S CARS. THANKS FOR PUTTING THE STUTZ TOGETHER. I'VE SEEN ALL OF THE PHOTOS, AND YOU PUT THEM ALL TOGETHER WELL. I ENJOYED!
ReplyDeleteI have greatly enjoyed grazing around your site. Dino and his pals have always been a bright spot in my life since I was a child. I am of Italian heritage and hearing songs like "An Evening in Roma" by the king of cool always brings back great memories and puts me in a happy place.
ReplyDeleteYour site is like a martini glass shaped swimming pool in the blogosphere, and I plan on taking regular dips.
Hey pallie DMP. I know what you mean. I agree with you. Both Dino and the car are classics.
ReplyDeleteHey pallie Terri. Your welcome. I love them too. It's always cool to see what sort of ride Dino would drive. This car is one of my favorites. I would love to have the one Dino drove.
ReplyDeleteHello Gilligan. Thanks so much for the wonderful comments. I appreciate them. It was great to hear from you. I quite enjoyed what you had to say.
ReplyDeleteI am of Italian heritage myself. I grew up listening to Dean Martin, etc. music at my grandmother's house. Listening to his songs today bring back such good memories.
I definitely hope you will continue to visit my blog. I appreciate your kind words. Please feel free to leave any comments you like. Thanks again.
Well, I'm impressed and I don't even like cars. Looks one really cool automobile.
ReplyDeleteHey Steve. Thanks. I don't know a lot about cars. This definitely looks like one cool ride for Dino.
ReplyDeleteCool picture. A Stutz was one of Elvis' favorite cars.
ReplyDeleteHey Mike. I didn't know that about Elvis. It is a cool car.
ReplyDeleteKiller photo and what a car! Like Mike said...Elvis had one and it is on diosplay at the car museum across from Graceland.
ReplyDeleteHey Jeremy. I love this car. It's cool to see a pic of Dino with such an awesome ride. I love the pictures of Elvis' car.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of a Stutz before! Who made it?
ReplyDeleteIt's better than the station wagon we had with the simulated wood panels:)
Hey Sue. I think it was the Stutz Motor Co. itself. Many celebs had them at the time besides Dino. Elvis, Sammy, Frank, Wayne Newton, Jerry Lewis, etc. all had them.
