I absolutely love this clip. I've always been a fan of Roger Miller's song King of the Road. I grew up listening to that song all the time. I really love this version done between Roger and Dino on The Dean Martin Variety Show.
Who else but Dino could make a trailer a swanky pad full of hot babes? Nobody, that's the answer. That's why Dean Martin is the true and eternal King of Cool. Cheers!
I can't find Dino singing this song anywhere! Thanks for this. Is this song on any CD that you know of?
ReplyDeleteHey Carol. Your welcome. I think Dino's version is on some CDs, but I'm not sure exactly which ones.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I did find it on an import CD called The Very Best of Capitol & Reprise Vol. 2 over at Amazon.
ReplyDeleteNow that was cool - the king of the road and the king ov cool - thanks for the link - King of cool.
ReplyDeleteIt made my mourning.

Hey Glenn. Glad you liked it. I thought it was pretty cool myself. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteI lived in a trailer growing up. I never thought I would want to live in one again, but I'm sold on Dino's idea of a trailer. Great video.
ReplyDeleteHey there. I know what you mean. I lived in a trailer for years. Our place was nothing like this. I wouldn't mind having a trailer like this one.
ReplyDeleteHey pallie Keith, our Dino has such class and this Dinoclip with Mr. Williams is likes total Dinoclass...
ReplyDeleteI wish I had something witty or insightful to say... but, I'm just too starstruck to think of anything. What a glorious clip.
ReplyDeleteIf anyone ever dares to question Dino's ultimate coolness, simply show them this clip - argument over.
Hey pallie DMP. Thanks for the comments. Glad you enjoyed this clip. Dino's definitely a cool and classy cat.
ReplyDeleteHey Gilligan. Thanks for the comments. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I really dig this clip. I definitely think it shows just how cool Dino is. Gotta love anybody who can make a trailer a swanky pad. Cheers!

Just wonderin' what happened to this Dinopost 'cause when I clicked on the link likes it said no such Dinopost existed....
Hey pallie DMP. LOL Forget that you saw that. Oops. I didn't think about the fact that it might show up on Google Alerts. I'm working on that post about "MR." I posted it on the blog to take a look at it and then saved it back as a draft. I'm hoping to have it ready by this Tuesday. Okay? Sorry about the confusion. I do hope you like it when I get it finished. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteClassic tune, and timeless indeed.Be hard pushed to find better than this.
