Favorite Album Covers: Frank Sinatra - Come Dance With Me!

sinatra-comedancewithme

I wanted to post about some album covers of other members of the Rat Pack. This is actually probably my favorite album cover by Frank Sinatra. I really like his hat and suit. I think they're cool. I also dig the way he's winking, smiling, and trying to get some chick to come dance with him. I own this CD. I love it. The music definitely makes me wanna dance with some beautiful woman. Put on this album, down a drink, and find a dame to bust some moves with. :-)

  4. Hey Glenn. My grandmother had this album. I've got it on CD. There is nothing like putting a record on a turntable.

    Cheers!

  5. That is a great cover, I love the cheekiness of it. Speaking of which, this LP has got Cheek to Cheek on it, hasn't it? I really should get myself a copy.

  8. As far as just the cover is concerned, I'm partial to In the Wee Small Hours.

Come Fly With Me would be a close second.

  10. Hey pallie DMP. Why does that not surprise me? lol I totally understand where you are coming from. You're the ultimate Dinoholic. I do like Frankie. Not as much as Dino, but I do still like him. It would be a cool cover if Dino had done this for one of his records. For a Frankie album, this is one of my favorites. Thanks for your comments. Did you check out the Sammy art pic that was the post below this one?

  13. YOUR WELCOME PALLIE KEITH. YOU KNOW I'M AN ULTIMATE DINO GIRL, BUT I APPRECIATE WHO HIS PALLIES WERE AND THERE WAS STILL A HIPNESS WITH ALL DINO'S PALLIES. I LOVE DINO SO MUCH THAT I LOVE WHO HE LOVED, AND FRANKIE HAD HIS OWN UNIQUE STYLE. DINOGAL

  14. Hey pallie Terri. Thanks so much. I appreciate your comments. I know that Sinatra might have his critics, but there had to be something about him since Dino was a pallie of his. They were good friends. He had to have some qualities that made Dino, Sammy, and those other guys want to be friends with him. Was he perfect? Absolutely not, but none of us are either. We all have our positive and negative attributes. Dino sure wouldn't have chilled out with somebody who wasn't a cool cat. Cheers!

  15. YOU ARE SO RIGHT PALLIE KEITH. I THINK OF ALL OF THE RAT PACK THAT DINO, FRANK, SAMMY AND PETER LAWFORD WERE THE COOLEST IN JUST THAT ORDER. DINOGAL

  16. Hey pallie Terri. I would put the order as Dino, Sammy, Frank, and Peter. Joey was definitely not cool. He always seemed like a boring guy to hang out with.

  17. WELL WE ALMOST FEEL THE SAME ANYWAY. YES I AGREE JOEY WAS VERY BORING AND DULL. DINOGAL

  19. Hey Terri. Never understood why the other guys wanted Joey as part of their gang.

Hey Jeremy. I agree with you on that. This is a great cover. It's a wonderful album. I listen to it all the time.

  21. Hey Bill. Glad you enjoyed this one so much. I definitely got some good response from this post. I love this cover. I love so many covers from the 50's to 70's. They just don't make them like they once did.

  22. Did you know they sell frames for album covers now? It's so cool. Makes use of the album all over again. You can get them at crafts stores. Yard sales are always full of old albums! This is a great cover.

  23. Hey Sue. I had seen that they did. That would be awesome. I've seen some shops that are just selling album covers. They don't even have the albums with them anymore. Either that or the albums are damaged. Album covers of the past were so cool and hip. You could definitely decorate up a pad with them.
