Favorite Album Covers: Frank Sinatra - Romance: Songs From The Heart
It's time for another one of my favorite album covers. Today it's Romance: Songs From The Heart by Frank Sinatra. I really dig this image of Sinatra out on the street. This is a wonderful albums. It's full of love songs by Ol' Blue Eyes. Some of the songs are I've Got You Under My Skin, My Funny Valentine, Cheek To Cheek, As Times Goes By & Embraceable You. I love this album. I listen to it all the time. It's definitely the perfect album to listen to when you've got that special someone over at your pad.
P.S. I hope you'll check out my latest post at Celluloid Slammer. I found a couple of tribute videos dedicated to Sharon Tate, featuring just screenshots from The Wrecking Crew. I thought they were pretty cool so I wanted to post them. Please check them out and leave me some comments there. Thanks.
oh!

i always sing his songs on videoke though my voice isn't good.huh!
I have this album myself. I love it. It is a nice photo of Frank Sinatra.
ReplyDeleteHey Proudly. Thanks for the comments. I love his songs too. I don't have much of a voice myself.
ReplyDeleteHey Phoebe. Thanks. I figured you did. You're a bigger Sinatra fan than I am.
ReplyDeleteDon't know this one Keith - I'll be sure to check it out though...
ReplyDeleteThanks Dave. I really like this album a lot.
ReplyDeleteThis is a good cover - I like a lot of the 50's LP covers, like Wee Small Hours and my favorite is Point of No Return.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kate. I totally agree. My grandmother has so many albums from the 1950's. They were unfortunately destroyed in some hurricanes in the 1990's.
ReplyDeleteWow, incredible shoot! I love it.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week,
FM~FP
Hey FM/FP. Thanks. Glad you liked it. Take care. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteThis is a fabulous cover, you're right Keith! And I enjoy all the songs you have listed there :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment - it was very much appreciated! I hope you had a wonderful and relaxing weekend!
Hey Allison. Thanks. Glad you liked this post. Sinatra has had some classic songs. You are very welcome about my comments on your blog. I really hope that situation works out. You deserve better. Take care.
ReplyDeleteOh I love it too, K! Which building is that?
ReplyDeletexoxox,
CC
Thanks Carrie. I have no idea about the building though. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteWhat strange photo to use on a LP cover for promoting love songs! Old Blue Eyes standing in the street looking over his shoulder??? I can only imagine him looking at a beautiful women fashionable dressed passing him by and he longing to date her! LOL
ReplyDeleteHey Mirko. Thanks for the comments. Yeah, it does look on sight to be a strange photo to use for an album of love songs. I think we can all read our own ideas into it. Maybe he's looking at someone. Who knows.
ReplyDeleteI have begin to collect secondhand albums of Dino, Frank and Sammy, it's rather difficult to find in Sweden to a low price. Mostly I like the covers very much...
ReplyDeleteHey pallie Keith, glad you likes this album...but I think that the frankie looks pretty stiff on this cover...but of course we know he ain't our King of Cool...
ReplyDeleteHey Sid. Thanks for the comments. Most of what I've got of theirs is on CD. I do have some albums too. I usually find them here and there at thrift stores, etc.
ReplyDeleteHey pallie DMP. Thanks for the comments. LOL Why am I not surprised about your assertions about Frankie? :-)
ReplyDeleteUber cool. I'm a HUGE Sinatra fan too! And of course Dino Martino :-) Just found your blog and love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments. It was great to hear from you. I'm glad you like my blog. I hope you will come back again. Cheers!
