Robbie Williams Covers A Dean Martin Classic

Check out this clip of Robbie Williams performing his cover of the Dean Martin classic Ain't That A Kick In The Head. While I don't think anybody does this song quite like Dino, I do really like Robbie's take on this tune. I hope you enjoy it too. Cheers!

  3. Robbie Williams has been my most favorite singer since I was about 10 and it were his swing melodies that brought me to listening Frank, Dean and all the others. With all the respect to his rock and pop songs, I think that swing suits him the best. I really like his "Swing When You're Winning" album and his concert at Royal Albert Hall was outstanding. I still hope, he will do one more swing CD like he promised a long time ago (back then when he was still concerting and making new songs).

P.S. I believe that there is a remark that he adores Dino in the book "Feel", which was written about him by a journalist and his friend.

    P.P.S. Have you seen this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-CC6VmnsmY ?

  7. Hey Kristyna. Thanks for the great comments. It's nice to meet a Robbie fan up here. I've bought some of his CDs over the years. I do wish he would do more swing music. I love what I've seen from his concert at the RAH. I've posted some Robbie clips a couple of other times. Check out my labels section in my sidebar for them. I hope you like them. Thanks again. Take care. Cheers! P.S. I'll check out that link.

  16. Thanks for the answer. I've already went thru your "Robbie Williams" sections, as far as I know, it was his name that brought me to your blog for the first time. I really liked Rob's voice at Dino's "Forever Cool" album. Too bad Dean nor Frank are alive, so he could sing alive with them.

  17. Hey Kristyna. Thanks. That's cool that Robbie is what brought you to my blog in the first place. I've found that all sorts of other celebs have been what got people to first visit my blog. It would be great if the Rat Pack was still around today. I would love to hear an actual duet between any of those cool cats and Robbie.
