Golfing With Dean Martin
I had quite an exciting day yesterday. I spent it on the golf course with Dean Martin. Here's a picture I snapped. I'm not that good at the game, but it was still fun hanging out with Dino. He definitely loves to golf. It's one of his passions in life. I was just happy to tag along.
Love the old school golf cart! Shots like this really make me think about just how many diverse places celebrities of the past like Dean were photographed in. I wonder if he ever got tired of the "cameras in his face" so to speak. Likely so, but you'd never know here. He just looks like someone who's enjoying a lovely game of golf.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful Thursday!

Don't forget to yell fore! Golfing with Dino must have been as fun as Caddyshack.
ReplyDeleteHey Jessica. Thanks for commenting. I love that golf cart. I enjoy coming across all these pictures of celebs at various places. They are always neat to see. I'm sure they got tired at times of always having their pictures taken. You just didn't really hear them whining about it like so many celebs of today.
ReplyDeleteHey Scott. LOL Now you've got me thinking about that movie. I sure wouldn't wanted to have gone golfing with Rodney Dangerfield.
ReplyDeleteI don't really care for golf at all. My husband loves it though. I still would go out there with Dean.
ReplyDeleteFab photo! :-)
ReplyDeleteXoXo
Love the photo..my young son golf's...would have loved Mr Martin to have tagged along with us....
ReplyDeleteHaha...love that cart!
ReplyDeleteI hope you didn't lose your shirt. Dino didn't play without some side action, if you know what I mean.
ReplyDeleteThat golfer looks like he might be hitting out of the rough. Part of the enjoyment of golf is being outside and having fun with your friends. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteI don't like golf, prefer fishing! ^.^
ReplyDeletekisses
great photo, can imagine it was exciting : )
ReplyDeleteNice pants on the other fellow.
ReplyDeleteWhen didthe fashion change to where we now always wear our pants lower on the hips instead of above the belly? Was it when jeans became popular?
Hey Phoebe. I'm no big fan of the game, but I would definitely go if Dino asked me.
ReplyDeleteThanks Janet. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteHey Gingey. Thanks. That would have been cool for your son and Dino to have played golf.
ReplyDeleteI'm hopeless at it, but would love a go on one of those buggies..
ReplyDeleteHey Cathy. Thanks. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteHey Bruce. Yeah, I made it out alive. lol It was a fun day.
ReplyDeleteHey Jim. Thanks. Yeah, that's what I was thinking about that guy. I wonder who he is. It is fun to get outside with your friends.
ReplyDeleteHey Sonia. Me too.
ReplyDeleteHey Insider. Thanks. I know what you mean.
ReplyDeleteHey Thomas. Thanks for commenting. I know what you mean. I wonder when the fashion changed too. I sure don't think it really changed for the better.
ReplyDeleteHey Dave. I know what you mean. Me too.
ReplyDeleteHi again,
ReplyDeleteI have got a beautiful little thing for U on my blog.♥
XOXO
Ooh, fun picture. It would have been nice to see Dean putting around, but I suppose we should be satisfied with simply seeing him in that retro golf cart. Fun picture! :)
ReplyDeleteHey Janet. Thanks. I'll go check it out now. :-)
ReplyDeleteHey Erika. Thanks for commenting. Yeah, I love that cart. Dino was definitely serious about his golf game. He would even go to bed early so he could hit the course first thing in the morning.
ReplyDeleteHey Keith, I was going to ask how your week was going but clearly it's going well seeing as your playing golf with Dino! Enjoy the rest of the week :)
ReplyDeleteHey Ela. Thanks. It's been a good week. Glad the weekend is almost here. Hope you've had a good one. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteOh now that does sound like a fab golfing trip. You shoulda stepped up your Tiger Woods game and showed Dean how it's done :0)
ReplyDeleteHey Clare. Thanks. LOL I'm sure Tiger could have shown Dino a few things out there on the course.
ReplyDeleteDidn't you post this up here before?

ReplyDeleteLove the old scholl mood! The photos are so inspiring... Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteThanks Martina. I appreciate that. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteHey Keith,
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you're a fan of Dion. He's one of my favorite singers ever and as I was just listening to Runaround Sue I thought, "I bet Keith likes this."
Hey E.K. Yeah, I'm a big fan of Dion. I always loved that song. It's been one of my favorite classic tunes since I was a kid.
