Dean Martin Smooches Angie Dickinson

Dean Martin and Angie Dickinson kiss each other in this photo from 1984. We can see both Sugar Ray Leonard and Sammy Davis Jr. in the background. I bet this would have been quite the event to be present at. Cheers!

  1. Everyone was there... that was some smooching. I was checking if Sammy and Sugar Ray were watching but they didn't seem to care.

  36. I looked up Angie. She's 78 years old. She's done something on television recently called Mending Fences. Besides that she's only done a few things over this decade. I guess she's semi-retired.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Thanks Phoebe. I had wondered what had come of her. I figured she had probably retired. I knew she had to be pushing 75 to 80 by now.

  38. You watched Police Woman, right? I remember seeing it in syndication. I'm a few years younger than you so I don't really remember it when it was on.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Yeah, I watched it. I was born in 1970. I was like 8 when it went off. I remember it some back then, but I did see it later on. I had one of my first crushes on her.

  41. Thanks. I appreciate it. I actually might do a post on Angie over at my other blog. I wouldn't mind covering Police Woman at some point. I want to focus some on the women I grew up loving back in the 70's and 80's.

  42. Lucky lady! :) Dean looks suave (as always), but it's Angie's dress that really steals the show for me. I wonder who the designer was?

Have an awesome Friday, my friend!

  46. As always Dean is the ladies man :P
Oh, i was born in the wrong era! What i would have given just to be there and look at Dean Martin and Sammy, just looking would have been enough for me :P

    Great picture Keith!

  47. Hey Maria. Thanks. I was born in 1970 so I was an adult when they passed away. I remember them when I was growing up. I think it would have been really cool to have been an adult back in the 60's or so when they were really kicking it up.

  48. Gotta love Angie. She had a cameo in the Clooney/Pitt Ocean's 11 which I thought was a classy tip of the hat to the original in which she of course played Tess.

Cool blog! Thanks for visiting mine and leaving the nice comment.

  50. For some reason, the blog itself is showing that this post has only 29 comments. It actually has over 50. I have no clue what is wrong here with Blogger. It has been acting up a lot lately. I know I'm not the only one to have any problems though.
