Robbie Williams & Sammy Davis Jr. Both Sing Mr. Bojangles

Here is a clip of Robbie Williams singing Mr. Bojangles. This is a classic tune recorded by many artists over the years. My personal favorite version of the song is by Sammy Davis Jr. I've included a video of Sammy singing this song. Sammy really connects with the essence of this song.   8. Although Sammy's version is the classic and the best, I must say Robbie does a great job as well. He gives it a bit of a modern edge, but still with respect to the original.;)

  13. I can't stand Robbie Williams. He seems like just a prick. His song isn't half bad though. Sammy does do a much better job with it though.

  20. Robbie Williams does a great job of modernizing the song to make it more appealing to today's listeners; but Sammy's will forever be my favorite! :)

    But i really got goosebumps when i heard Robbie's version!
    Wow, how i miss that kind of entertainment in our time.. It makes me so sad, when i think of all those people who will never get to listen or see what real entertainment was!!
