Shia LaBeouf Takes On Wall Street
Shia LaBeouf appeared on the cover and posed for an editorial in a recent issue of GQ. Since I was on my blogging hiatus at the time, I didn't get a chance to do a post on these photos. I'm sure many of you have probably seen these by now, but I still wanted to post them here in case you hadn't.
He's definitely had quite the career the last few years. I'll always remember first seeing him on the Disney show Even Stevens. He's certainly grown up since then. His film credits include Disturbia, the two Transformers movies, Eagle Eye & Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Shia will next be seen in Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, where he gets a chance to test his acting chops opposite Oscar winner Michael Douglas. His styling choices have to be top notch on and off the screen. I'm not necessarily the biggest fan of Shia, but I really love the photos. I think his clothes have sort of an Italian flair to them. What do you think of these pictures? Personally my favorite is the second one.

Here is the trailer for the sequel to Wall Street. I loved the original film from back in 1987. That movie won Michael Douglas an Oscar for his incredible performance as Gordon Gekko. I'm really hoping this new movie will be on par with that one.
Great photos , ya gotta love the look.
ReplyDeleteLove his work and these pics!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for the sequel!

Oh say hello again Keith!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back. I missed U and Ur posts too.
What a fantastic editorial! Perfect!
♥
The look is great, I think I like the third one the best.
ReplyDeleteThe sequel looks good! I liked photo 3 where everyone else was blurred/moving around him. Good post!
ReplyDeleteOh, what a great set of pictures, he has grown up to be handsome young man, I remember him as a boy. Time flies...
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit, i am so gad you are back as you leave the kindest comments.;)

Despite bad pre-reviews...I gonna see it for sure...
ReplyDeleteI've been a fan of Shia since he was on the Disney channel show "Even Stevens." This editorial is phenomenal - I can't say I have a favorite photograph though; they all look amazing!! :)
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteFound your blog through Ms. Carrie and (even at my advanced age) want to be a cool follower!
So happy to have you back here, Keith! I'm loving all these pictures - I agree with you, the second one is fabulous, but I'm also partial to the third! I didn't see the first Wall Street, but I guess I'll have to because I do love Shia! :)
ReplyDeleteHope you're doing well! We all missed you :)
Those are great photos! I haven't even seen the original Wall Street so will have to catch up :)
ReplyDeleteHe's not a bad actor...thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment...
ReplyDeleteHe looks really nice in suits, then again most men tend to look better when they're suited up :)
ReplyDeleteKeith:
ReplyDeleteHe's got the type of quality we used to see in actors from decades past (the good ones, of course).
Always like to see actors and actresses that don't have the emotional bagage so many others seem to drag along with 'em these days.
He still looks so young. Maybe I'm just getting old.
ReplyDeleteGlad your back Keith! funny i just did a blog that has to do with syle...i have a thing for suits so needless to say i luved this :)
ReplyDeleteI loved the 1st movie and I bel this one will be great toooo:)

He's still got it! Did you see him in I LOVE NEW YORK? Oh, he was really great in that. Its a movie done in segments like I LOVE PARIS. Although, I thought the Paris one was better..there are some intersting stories in the movie, but his was one of the better ones.

ReplyDeleteHey Keith! Great to hear that you're back blogging! These are great photos- I'm if-y on Mulligan as Shia's gf but I'm really looking forward to the sequel- loved Wall Street! My favorite photo is Shia with the paper airplane!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photo shoot - like them all except the filing cabinet one - too contrived. Sharp suit!
ReplyDeleteHello Keith!
ReplyDeleteNice to hear from you again!
I am glad you back again!
Thank you too for getting back to me again. Wow, for long you weren't around?
Take care, my dear friend!

Hmmm...I'm not quite sure I 'get' the appeal of young Shia. Although he does have the sexy insouciance of a young Tom Hanks in 'Splash'.
ReplyDelete...I think I'm just 'offended' that he is the heir to the Indy throne [noooooo] because I liked him in the first 'Transformers'. And I do like him in this editorial! Very suave.
Where are the men??? All these pretty boys are taking over!
Interesting to see how the whole "greed is good" attitude plays in a post GFC era.
he looks good here! can't believe how much he has grown up since back then in Nickelodeon.
