More Men That I Admire Their Style

I've previously posted some men that I admired their style. I got such a good reception to that so I decided to post some more. Several of these men here were mentioned in comments by readers. There are countless other men from the past that I really like. I plan to post more in the future. So who out of these do you like? Who is somebody that I haven't posted about before that you really dig their style? Let me know what you think.

  1. Probably a lot of people wouldn't see him as stylish but I rather like the fictional character of Lamont Sanford (Demond Wilson) dresses in Sanford & Son.

Course I have a theory about myself - the reason I like men from the 70s so much is because of having to endure for so long men wearing their pants so baggy you can see their dirty boxer shorts. It makes even the most out there 70s outfit look like a 3 piece Armani suit in comparison. Not to mention men of the 70s were better groomed.

  2. Oh, another great list of stylish men. Alain Delon was so handsome when he was younger, he had that rebellious look that captivated you.
Clark Gable was also a very charming man

  6. So few famous men now have the style and presence of some of these.

And Alain Delon always reminds me of that old joke, who would you rather be Alain or Gianni Angelli...

  10. Keith:
Got yourself a fine list there, and I have to agree w/ Jami on Demond Wilson.

Gable looked good in uniform, too.

Another person who exhibited great style was Cary Grant.

I do remember when Richard Roundtree came out in the movie SHAFT...hell, we ALL wanted to get turtleneck sweaters JUST like his...and I DID - set me back $25 (in those days that was a decent chunk of a paycheck, too).

Trouble was, mom washed it in HOT water, and it shrunk...ROFL!

Guess G.I. Joe or Ken was set for winter THAT year.

    Stay cool!

I loved the fact they were gentlemen first, the clothing was an added by product. :-)
