I am a big fan of Terrence Howard. The actor's credits include Crash, Four Brothers, Hustle & Flow, Idlewild, The Brave One, Iron Man, etc. He also released an album called Shine Through It a couple of years ago. He's a talented man. Plus I think he's got really cool style. Here are some photos (by Peggy Sirota) from GQ back in 2007 that I wanted to share with you. I hope you like them. Let me know what you think.

P.S. I'm seeking some advice. I know I've mentioned this before, but I wanted to get some help if I can. I really want to revamp both my blogs. The main thing is that I want to switch up to a three column template. I've looked around, but it's like I can't really find the right code. I see people around with some really cool looking blogs that have three columns. I'd love to still be able to use a blog header like the one I've got on this and my other blog. All the templates I find don't seem to let me use a header at all. Anybody have any suggestions at all? Do you know of or have a template code that I could use on this and my other blog? I would greatly appreciate any help at all. I'm not a tech whiz at all so I usually have trouble with this sort of thing. Thanks so much. You're the best.

ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of free templates that you can get with blogger but I'm not sure about how three columns would affect your header. I really love your header and would hate to see it compromised. I'll be on the look out for you, though.

I do love the way your blog is laid out. I know there are bunch of new layout designs on your blogspot design..but still its tricky to try something new when you aren't sure about it. This is great that you can max your pictures the way you do. Perhaps have a test blog to figure out exactly what you want.

I like the three column look too and I'm sure blogger do the new ones (in the new templates section) but it requires you changing up quite a lot on your page. I'm pretty inept with techy things so I haven't changed my template much since I first started my blog!

ReplyDeleteGood luck with the format change. I'm far from a whiz, myself. I went to a three column format and I've been struggling with it a little bit. The pictures always seem to come out distorted vs. what they look like in the preview.
I love Terrence. He's so enigmatic, especially his eyes. Regarding the three column, i think i may have seen something about a code on bloggers discussion page. However, it's all trial and error because sometimes it throws your layout and pictures off balance.If i see anything, i'll definitely let you know. xo

my boyfriend is a terrence howard fan too. there's something abt him that bothers may. prob has something to do with my inability to separate the role from the man. he's always such an arrogant jerk in movies. but at any rate, i can see how people are drawn to him. he does have that it factor.

ReplyDeleteI do have a blog bookmarked that's all blogger tips - I'll send you the link separately. They do cover how to convert your blog to three column but it requires making a back-up copy of it and changing quite a bit of the HTML. When I'm feeling daring I'm going to attempt it myself on my own blog.

Scroll down until you see the column on the right-hand side that says Templates. There are links to three-column templates depending on the original name of your blog template (which blogger doesn't provide anymore, and I hate that.) I think mine is the ThisaWay template design.
