Here's a picture of Daliah Lavi from the Matt Helm spy caper The Silencers. I love this film. It's so cool and hip. Daliah is such an exotic beauty, plus I really dig her accent. Check out her sexy legs.
Here's a clip from the movie. It features Dean Martin, Daliah Lavi & Stella Stevens. Watch them in action now.
I'm must see if The Matt Helm films are on DVD yet?
ReplyDeleteI first thought the dead woman had electric wires on her suit!
ReplyDeleteI didn't recognize Daliah Lavi's accent... What kind of an accent is it? But I loved the matter-of-fact voice in which she "interrupted" the other two ^^ Well, now I wanna know how it goes on. ^^
Thanks for your nice comment too!!
One of my favorite films too. Every chick is gorgeous and Stevens shows her various "assets" throughout. Can't think of a film with more wall to wall babes.
ReplyDeleteHey Dave. I know you can buy them in the Matt Helm Lounge DVD set. It's got all four movies. That's what I've got.
ReplyDeleteHey Cate. Thanks for the comments. I always enjoy hearing from you. I like checking out and commenting on your blog. Daliah Lavi is Israeli. She was born over there in 1942 before the state of Israel was reborn. She's become a big star in Germany. I hope you get a chance to see this movie. It's good campy spy fun. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteHey Gil. Thanks for the comments. Glad that you're a fan to. This flick is full of gorgeous babes. That's one thing you can always count on the Matt Helm movies for. They have beautiful eye candy all around. Stella was great in this movie. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteHey pallie Keith, that scene is quite the Dinohoot with Stella treatin' our Dino is such a rude rude way....of the 4 Helm capers "The Silencers" comes in second after you knows what...
ReplyDeleteI love this picture and video featuring Daliah. She's such an exotic beauty. I think she's fantastic. Have you ever heard any of her music?
ReplyDeleteHey pallie DMP. Thanks for the comments. I knew you would enjoy this. I love that clip. Stella is very nasty to Dino. It's hilarious how they work off of each other. This is my second favorite of the Matt Helm flicks too. Of course, you knew that. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteHey Phoebe. Thanks. Daliah is quite the stunner. She really added some spice to this movie. I could just listen to her talk for hours. Yeah, I've watched some clips of her music before. I like it a lot even though I don't understand what she's saying.
ReplyDeleteI love this movie too, as you know from reading my review. Daliah is a babe, no doubt.

ReplyDeleteI love the dress she is wearing.
ReplyDeleteHey Deanna. Me too.
ReplyDeleteThose fab ruffles are all over the runway for FW 09 - she is fierce!

ReplyDeleteHey Keith!
ReplyDeleteI wrote a little paragraph about you and your blog in my post today, if you like to check it out! :)
Thank you so much for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteI must see that movie! =] And she looks so fabulous!
xoxo,
La C.
Hey Cate. Wow! Thanks. That is so cool. I can't wait to check that out. I appreciate it. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteHello La C. You are welcome. I plan to stop by more often. Thanks for visiting my blog too. I appreciate it. I do hope you get a chance to see this movie.
ReplyDeleteI really "need" to get the Matt Helm Lounge DVDs but have read reviews stating that there are some scenes edited. Anyone know? Are the DVDs in widescreen? I love this kind of stuff but want to make sure that they haven't butchered them. Thanks to anyone who answers.
ReplyDeleteHey C.K. Thanks for the comments. It was nice hearing from you. I have the Matt Helm Lounge DVD set myself. I like it a lot. It's the only way to get the other 3 movies. The Silencers is the only one available on DVD by itself. As far as editing, I don't know what would have been edited out. I've watched the movies on DVD and on old videocassettes. It sure seemed the same to me. Maybe someone else would know better. I never saw the moves in their original run. Cheers!
