Dean Martin Chats With The Orchestra

Dean Martin is chatting with his orchestra during a break. The year is 1958 and the place is Las Vegas. I'm not sure if this is a recording session or a rehearsal for his act. I would love to have been one of the guys there. It would be cool to have been able to talk with Dino. I wonder what sorts of things were on his mind. He always seemed like he would be a fun guy to work with.

  6. Hey Veronica. Thanks. I agree. I think he would have been much funner to work with than Sinatra. It just seems that he would have made work much fun.

  8. Granted it was a photo (and not say the perspective a fly on the wall might have when the camera wasn't firing away), but I think it really looks like the orchestra is having a terrific time. I'd be all smiles too if I had the chance to work with Deano! :)

Thank you very much for your lovely comments on my blog, Keith. I hope you have a fantastic day!

  9. Thanks Phoebe. I played a little piano and guitar when I was younger, but that's been ages.

  15. And musicians typically like a drink or two, so I'm there would have been some quality boozing done between takes...
