Have A Thrilling Halloween With Michael Jackson & A Bunch Of Zombies
I really hope all of you have enjoyed these Halloween related posts. I had a lot of fun posting them. Make sure you check out the Halloween posts I did at my other blog Sugar & Spice if you haven't done so yet. I decided that it just wouldn't be Halloween without Michael Jackson's Thriller video. It's the perfect way to end this series of posts. Plus I've also included the covers of some of my favorite zombie movies of the post. I hope you guys and girls can handle them. :-) I wish all of you a fantastic Halloween this weekend. Watch out for those ghouls and goblins!
Do any of you like zombie movies? If you are a fan of them, what are some of your favorites? Let me hear from you.
Okay, I couldn't help but notice that Sir Ian McColloch was in Zombie Holocaust!! Wow! It is crazy to see actors in their early works. Oh and thanks a lot Keith, now I have an overwhelming urge to do the thriller dance in my living room :)

ReplyDeleteHm - not a big fan of the "risen from the grave" type zombie. I prefer voodoo zombies. Especially White Zombie with Bella Lugosi.
ReplyDeleteHello the newer Hallowen post from Keith! That's great as always!
ReplyDeleteX♥X♥
brilliant post! enjoy the day!
ReplyDeleteI'm not really into zombies UNLESS they're in a Michael Jackson video - so thanks for posting it.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Halloween Keith!
Favourite zombie movies would have to be Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead... basically most of George A. Romero's brilliant works of Zombie art. I've seen a few foreign zombie movies but I don't know the titles of them which is unfortunate. Hmm...
ReplyDeleteFavourite one of all time is Night of the Living Dead! Always will be! Love the rawness of it, the creepiness. Even now, I still get chills watching it alone in the dark.
Hey Clare. Thanks for commenting. There are so many people that played in movies like this. I love the Thriller Dance. It wouldn't be Halloween without it.

Hey Daniela. Thanks. I appreciate your comment. Cool to see you like zombie movies. Romero is awesome. He's made some really cool zombie movies. My favorite of his is Dawn of the Dead. Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteThese are some very awesome zombie movies. I think I've seen all of them myself. Hell of the Living Dead and Nightmare City are two that you recommended to me a few weeks back. I got a chance to see both of them at the same time. Gotta love Netflix.
ReplyDeleteHey Wolf. Glad you enjoyed those recommendations of mine. I thought you would. I know my sis and I both enjoyed those. I love zombie movies. Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend too!
ReplyDeleteI love the Thriller video. I was thinking about it the other day when you had your Vincent Price post. I've only seen a few zombie movies. They scare me a little too much.
ReplyDeleteThanks Timeless. Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteHey Phoebe. Thanks for commenting. That is one cool video. It's perfect for this time of year. Sorry you aren't a big fan of zombie movies. Some of them can be a gross out, but I love that.

ReplyDeletelove thriller, but the zombie movies creep me out too much xx
ReplyDeleteGreat post! I remember being pretty scared when I first saw the MJ video...granted I was about 7 years old...hahaha.
ReplyDeleteI liked 28 days later. Thought it was a pretty good movie. Of course you probably can't get any better than night of the living dead...
Have a great weekend!
When I was little my cousins and I once dressed up and zombied out to the song for a little show for my grandparents, LOL. They indulged us.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

Oh, Buddy oh pal. I swear I will probably be the only one up here who has seen most of these. I love ZOMBIES. :) Hell of the living Dead, Zombie, Nightmare City (pleasantly surprised and I can't believe Eric enjoyed it too), Dawn of the Dead (king of these and I love the scene when they kill that guy when he used the Blood Pressure Machine, what an idiot!!!), Day of the Dead (fabulous) love when all the zombies go down into their underground layer!!!, Night of the Living Dead (Classic what can you say I love both versions!!!!!).
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween to you too Keith! I saw today that Christopher Lee was knighted yesterday - I've done a short post about him and put in a link to your fab post about the unholy trinity - hope that's OK?
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween, Keith! Enjoy a sugar crash tomorrow!

Whoa! Scary post. I just came from seeing "This Is It." I thought it was good plus a little sad. This really would have been some show if Michael had lived.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend, my friend.
I have missed so many great posts! And all about Halloween, my favorite holiday.;)
ReplyDeleteNosferatu is an incredibly well made movie, both the original and the 70's remake.;)
Have a splendid Halloween!
:))
Hey Etrapar. Thanks. Some of them are pretty scary. Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteHey Agneta. Thanks so much. I'm thrilled that you enjoy my blog.
Hey Steph. Thanks for commenting. Yeah, you are definitely my zombie freak. I know how much you love all those movies. I'm glad you've enjoyed the ones we've been watching. I was thrilled that you enjoyed Nightmare City. Yeah, that was funny about the dude using the blood pressure machine in DOTD. I could talk about zombie movies forever. I know you could to. Nobody does them like Romero. Besides him the Italian zombies are the best.
ReplyDeleteHey Sam. That's so cool. I appreciate you mentioning my post and all. That's very cool. Thanks. I'll definitely check it out.
ReplyDeleteHey Kim. Thanks. I'll definitely eat plenty of candy.
Hey Gabbi. That's so cool. I wasn't sure if anybody here, except for my sis, really liked zombie movies.
ReplyDeleteHey Maria. Thanks. Glad you like the posters. Thriller scares a lot of people. Don't feel bad.
Hey Maison. Thanks for commenting. I appreciate it. I'm following your blog now. It's awesome.
ReplyDeleteHey Cheryl Lynn. Thanks for commenting. That's great that you saw "This Is It." I wanna see it. I'm sure it is sad. It would have been quite the comeback.
Hey Protege. Thanks. It was great hearing from you. I had wondered if everything was okay with you. I hope you are doing well. Take care.
Halloween is not Halloween without Thriller! And Romero is definitely one of my favourite directors, I absolutely love the Of The Dead series! I still like the originals over the remakes. Hope you're having a super fun Halloween :)
ReplyDeleteThat is so true.. Halloween is not complete without Jackson's Thriller :)
ReplyDeleteWishing you a happy halloween Keith! Zombie movies used to scare me too much as a kid to watch, but now I just kind of giggle at them...the horror seems to be gone :-)
ReplyDeletexoxoxo
M.J. looks so calm among those zombie basterds.....

Hey Marian. Thanks. Thriller is one spooky cool video.
Hey Housewife. I remember when it came out too. I was a young teen. Everybody went crazy for Thriller.
Thriller is perpetually awesome, I always listen to that song every day leading up to Halloween - and keep in rotation throughout the rest of the year.
ReplyDeleteLoved your Halloween posts this month, Keith, thank you for making the season even spookier :)
Have a fantastic Sunday,
♥ Jessica

Thanks Glay. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteWow, the Rat Pack AND classic monsters and zombies! I think Fulci's Zombi 2 is my fave zombie movie, followed by Romero's Day of the Dead, but all the movies you put up are worth seeing!
ReplyDeleteHey Will. Thanks. Glad you enjoy what I post. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteM.J. is so awesome (r.i.p.) Have you heard the remix of Beat It and Coldplay's Viva La Vida? Yeah, I know, doesn't sound too promising, I thought so myself (i'm a devoted coldplay fan). But It is great, actually! You should check it out :)
