Jon Hamm Is A Mad Man

I can't believe I've not done any posts on Mad Men so far. I definitely wanted to change that. Mad Men is one of the best shows on television these days. It's a modern day classic set in the advertising world of the 1960's. I love everything about this show. I'm a big fan of the 60's so this series is like being able to take a time machine back to that swingin' era. The star of Mad Men is Jon Hamm, who plays the role of ad exec Don Draper. Here are some photos (by Nathaniel Goldberg) of Jon Hamm from a GQ shoot a couple of years ago. The new season has just premiered. If you've never seen it, I hope you will check it out.

    Jon sure looks fine in these suits. The show seems interesting, haven't heard anything about it tough... I will check the trailer on Youtube.

    The whole look of Mad Men is absolutely fabulous! I love the sixties as well, particularly London 60's fashion. Mad Men is great fun! These pics are magnificent!

    My favorite show, and Jon looks mighty fine. Since I don't get AMC, however, I have to wait for each season to be released on DVD, and then I gorge myself on it for a few nights.

    Its just amazing how he transforms into this character. He's great on SNL too..and was so loveable as a Liz Lemon Love interest on 30 Rock. He's definitely dashing..which is hard to find these days.

    All I can say..I'm not sure Mad Men does much for Vincent Karahsis (something like that) He was haute in Another Day in Paradise.

    Thanks for the side bar note about Nic Hoult. Its great to see him in a role like that, not nearly as devious as his Tony on SKINS. He can certainly create complex character..and I hear he was so tall in the Single Man, they had to have him sitting in a lot of scenes.

    Definitely started watching Mad Men because of him...I'm still quite shocked by the scandals of the 1960s but that's what keeps me watching... Jon Hamm was hilarious in 30 Rock!

    Great photos Keith! personally I like the black and white photo with the "prison" like building, somehow, to me, it sums upp the complexity that is Don Draper ... ;)

    A friend just gave me the second season and being recently hooked I don´t know which thrills me the most - that I now get to watch season 2 uninterupted or that I have a third season to nuture me after that :)
