I'm not sure how many of you know who Fernando Verdasco is. I wanted to take the time to introduce him to my readers here. Fernando is a Spanish professional tennis player. The 26 year old is the second highest ranked Spaniard (ranked #8) in the world after Rafael Nadal (the world's #1 and my favorite tennis player). Here are some photos (by Nathaniel Goldberg) of Fernando from the September issue of GQ. Anybody a fan of tennis? Any a fan of Fernando? What do you think of these photos? I love all of these, but for some reason I'm really digging the last photo.
P.S. I wanted to let everybody know that posts from me right now might be few and far between. I was laid off from work on Tuesday. I've got to find a job now. I'm really nervous because the job market is so tough right now. There just aren't a lot of jobs out there right now. I think I'm going to check out the job search engine on TheLadders.com. Keith, I'm so sorry to hear about your job. I am hoping that the US will not go into a double dip recession and that after the elections in November, businesses will be more optimistic and start hiring again.
