This picture comes courtesy of my pallie Timmy.
I really don't know when or where this photo was taken. I think it's a great picture of all these men. Dean Martin is here with his pallies John Wayne, Bob Hope, Ronald Reagan & Frank Sinatra.

Dean Martin Advertises A Telephone Credit Card
Dean Martin did advertising for various companies over the years. It was a win-win situation for both Dino and these companies. Any business would have been wise to hire the King of Cool to pitch their products. They were sure to bring in plenty of Dino fans, who would buy their product or use their service because Dino recommended it. Plus I'm sure Dino enjoyed the money and other perks that he received for these endorsements deals.

Dean Paul Martin With His Band & His Daddy-O
This picture comes courtesy of my pallie The One & Only International Bond Girl.
I hope you like that picture of Dino, Desi & Billy. Seeing that photo made me want to see if I could find any clips featuring the band or at least Dean Paul Martin. I wanted to post this cool clip of Dean Martin and his son from The Dean Martin Variety Show. I always loved this clip. I hope you enjoy it.

What The World Needs Now Is Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis
These pictures of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis come courtesy of my pallie Katrien. I think these pictures are fantastic. They are some of the best I've seen of Dino and Jerry together. My favorite comedy duo of all time is definitely the team of Martin and Lewis. They ruled the box office, television, radio, nightclubs, etc. for a decade. They were solid gold superstars. It's a shame that things finally soured between these two. They each went their separate ways and had wonderful solo careers. I think many of us wish they had done even more projects together before they parted company. If you've never seen one of their comedy flicks, you definitely owe it to yourself to see at least one as soon as possible. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. With so much turmoil going on in our country and world right now, it's good to find some good escapist fun to have some laughs. Even if you've watched some of their movies in the past, I hope you'll check them out again. You know that you won't be sorry for it. Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis always put a smile on my face and make me laugh so hard. I'm sure they will do the same for you.

Dean Martin The Family Man
Here are some pictures of Dean Martin with his family that come courtesy of my friend The One & Only International Bond Girl. Dino had four children (Craig, Claudia, Barbara & Deana) with his first wife Elizabeth Anne. He had three children (Dean Paul, Ricci & Gina) with his second wife Jeanne. He would later go on to adopt the daughter (Sasha) of his third wife Catherine. I thought these were some really cool pictures. It's great to see Dino as a family man. Family is very important. I do wonder what kind of dad he was. I've read his son Ricci's book, but never his daughter Deana's. I know they each paint a different picture of what life was like in the Martin home.

The Well Dressed Man Of Today: George Clooney
One of the best dressed men in Hollywood these days is George Clooney. The actor won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in 2005 for his work in Syriana. He's also the star of films such as Ocean's Eleven and its sequels, Out Of Sight & Michael Clayton. Clooney almost always looks really sharp. He's a handsome man who dresses well. There's even been some buzz over the years of him playing Matt Helm in an update of the spy franchise. If they were going to bring Matt Helm back to the big screen, especially if the role was going to be played more along the lines of what Dean Martin did, then I think Clooney would be fantastic. He's got the right amount of wit and charm about him that's perfect for the part. George Clooney is an inspiration to me on so many levels.

I Am King By Sean Combs
I think it's important for a man to smell nice. I've been looking for a new fragrance to try out. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks for any advice.
Anybody know what sort of cologne any of the Rat Packers might have worn? I have no clue about that.
I've seen all the promotion for I Am King by Sean Combs. I wasn't sure if it was a good scent or not. I've read some mixed reaction about it. I will admit that I like the marketing for it though. It's promoting a lifestyle and attitude that I'm sure many men will find appealing.
Here are some ads for it, plus a mini-movie (it's like five minutes long) that I hope you will check out.

Dean & Me (A Love Story) - Jerry Lewis
Has anybody here ever read this book? If so, what are your thoughts about it? I've read a couple of biographies about Dean Martin, but I've never read this one. I definitely need to get my hands on a copy.
P.S. Tomorrow is Good Friday, so I'm taking off from the blog. I'll be back on Monday. I hope that you all have a great Easter weekend.

Drinkin' Time At The Dino Lounge
As the warmer months are upon us, I can't wait to make some good drinks. I wonder if any of the Rat Packers ever drank this?

Favorite Album Covers: Frank Sinatra - Romance: Songs From The Heart
It's time for another one of my favorite album covers. Today it's Romance: Songs From The Heart by Frank Sinatra. I really dig this image of Sinatra out on the street. This is a wonderful albums. It's full of love songs by Ol' Blue Eyes. Some of the songs are I've Got You Under My Skin, My Funny Valentine, Cheek To Cheek, As Times Goes By & Embraceable You. I love this album. I listen to it all the time. It's definitely the perfect album to listen to when you've got that special someone over at your pad.
P.S. I hope you'll check out my latest post at Celluloid Slammer. I found a couple of tribute videos dedicated to Sharon Tate, featuring just screenshots from The Wrecking Crew. I thought they were pretty cool so I wanted to post them. Please check them out and leave me some comments there. Thanks.

Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis Are At War With The Army
Check out this hilarious clip from the 1950 Martin-Lewis comedy At War With The Army. Jerry is cross dressing and singing a sultry song to a soldier. This clip really cracks me up. I love Dino's reaction when he walks in. I hope you enjoy it too.
