Zac Efron Takes On Hollywood

zac

I wanted to share these recent photos (by Norman Jean Roy) of Zac Efron from the August issue of
Details. Zac's been known as a young heartthrob starring in such movies as the High School Musical franchise, Hairspray & 17 Again. He's now been trying to cast off that image to build a more long lasting career in Hollywood. Last year he starred in the film Me and Orson Welles. He recently starred in the film Charlie St. Cloud. This photo shoot is a little different from the usual ones I post. I'm usually posting pictures of guys dressed up. What do you think of these photos?

P.S. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. I really appreciate it. This has definitely been a difficult time in my life. I've been so stressed out. I'm really nervous about the future. I'm not quite sure yet what I'm going to do. I am putting in some job applications. I'm also seeking out some short term work even if I can't find anything more substantial. I'm really considering going back to college. One of the biggest regrets of my life is that I never finished college. I know that's been the main reason in my life why I've gone from one dead end job to another. It's time for a change in my life. I'm almost 40 years old. I can't keep on going on like this. I'm seriously considering going back to college to further my education. I believe that's the best thing for me to do. I'm talking with my family, friends, church, etc. about my studies as well as trying to find some work. Please continue to keep me in your thoughts and prayers. It means so much to me. Thanks. Take care. God bless you.

You know, it's awkward trying to escape the warm safe Uterus of the Disney corporation. Shia LeBoeuf, Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus.... They've all got something to prove in their chosen fields. Britney made it (careerwise that is). Shia seems to be doing pretty well. Here's hoping Zac makes it, too!

Also, keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Sending happy vibes your way. Best of luck!

Going back to college seems like a very good idea, you might enjoy this experience. I always say there's a positive thing in every bad experience. Good luck, I hope you will succeed in everything you set your mind to.

P.S. Zac looks better in these pictures with this hairstyle than in his High School Musical days.

I'm probably one of the few that doesn't think that Zac Efron is super dreamy/wonderful, but I do think that this editorial is gorgeous :)
I've been keeping you in my thoughts and prayers - I hope that whatever you decide to do works out for you - you really deserve the best :) Keep us all posted!

You could post photos of Zac Efron in a burlap sack and I'd love it. Easily my biggest celebrity crush -- look at those eyes and how he's working these leather jackets! Especially love the brown one.
Wishing you all the luck, Keith!

It seems that child stars sometimes need to go away from the film spotlight (do stage or something) then come back to film looking like an adult, maybe different haircut.

It's risky to go out of the public's mind, though, because you might not be asked to return (at least not as a film star).

Although Justin Timberlake made the transition to adulthood while in the spotlight, you'll notice he sports a different haircut than he did as a kid. This helps the audience to view him as a different, yet familiar, person.

It's all about the locks. Sort of.

The best of success, Keith.

It's good to improve/further one's education, so you are on the right road. Good luck with job hunting. xx

He is trying to step out of the child star spotlight now, that's for sure. It's a very James Dean-esqu photoshoot, no doubt about that. And good luck with everything man.

i think zac is very photogenic and a lot of it has to do with his great head of hair. seriously, his hair is awesome.

I have never seen High School Musical. I have only seen Zac in magazines and don't know much about him.

I'm keeping you in my daily prayers. How are things going? I know things are going to work out. Remember it's always the darkest hour before sunrise. This is just for a season. Prayer can move mountains.

Use this as a time to explore other possibilities...
Try some part-time gigs, see what "fits" you.

We all put on our lives like clothing.
We WEAR our lives for all to see.
Nothing wrong with making a great "first impression" though, eh?

Take care & God bless.
Stay Strong.

There is just something pure goodness about him. It might put some off, but really he's a classic, already.
