Chris Pine Will Be Your Captain On This Flight

Chris Pine had some big shoes to fill when he stepped into the iconic role of Captain Kirk played by the legendary William Shatner. Judging by the success of the reboot of Star Trek, I think Chris has nothing to worry about now. I thought he did a good job with his take on the role. The next film in the franchise is geared for release in 2012. Here are some pictures (by Ben Watts & Tom Schierlitz) of Chris Pine from GQ. So which of these suits do you like the best?

    Ug! I'm sorry but that was the WORSE Star Trek movie ever. The casting was bad. The plot non-existent. It was utter crap and JJ should be ashamed of himself.

    And - well, I'm sorry but I think Pine is an ugly man. Like Mel Gibson and Tom Cruise, there's something about him I find repugnant. I never could put my finger on those two as to why I didn't like them until recently. But I always found them puke-worthy. Same thing with Pine.

    I think the third suit it's the best for his hair color and eye color. I like these pictures a lot, seems like he had fun on the set

    I agree with Laura. I think the 3rd suit is great. I love that colour and the added hat makes it a bit more fun. He actually looks great in them all though.

    I never got around to seeing that Star Trek movie. Oh well, Chris Pine looks fantastic in every one of these suits. I think my favourite is the white one. I love that it's so fitted, and that it look more casual because he's sans tie, and wearing a funky coloured belt. The belt just adds so much fun! I'm always up for unconventional suits (course, this is coming from the girl that sewed a tie-dyed for a guy to wear to grad, so I guess that's not surprising).

    The first and the last, definitely. They are beautiful suits and fit him perfectly. I think he's pretty beautiful too. I remember him on an episode of CSI Miami. He played a very unsavory character, but they did a lot of close up shots of him and I remember thinking how beautiful his eyes were. I have yet to see the Star Trek movie, but I am seriously considering taking a Saturday afternoon and watching it.
