Sammy Davis Jr. Chats Up Batman & Robin

This is a really cool clip. It's a cameo done by Sammy Davis Jr. on the campy 1960's series Batman. Check it out!

That was a cool clip. One of the cool parts of the show was the person that came out of the window while Batman and Robin were climbing the wall.

What a great gag and thanks for the link.

Hey Glenn. I always loved that on the show. You never knew who was going to open the window. Recently I saw a special about the show. It reminded me about this. I had to find the clip of Sammy. Glad you enjoyed it.

Hey pallie DMP. Glad you enjoyed the clip even if you aren't a fan of Batman. I thought it was a cool clip. It would have been awesome if Dino had done of these cameos. I would have loved it if he had been in that room with Sammy.

I love this. I've seen it before, but I never tire of it. I would love to have gone in there to chill with Sammy for awhile.

Glad you liked it. I think it's really cool. I would be hanging out with Sammy myself. Have some drinks and listen to him sing us some tunes.

Love Sammy's work as an actor. A MAN CALLED ADAM is brilliant and his spot on THE MOD SQUAD as the hip Ghetto priest is an all time favorite.

Hey Jeremy. I agree with you. I always loved seeing Sammy on tv or in movies. I will always love his appearance on All in the Family. That was priceless.

I loved Batman and Robin. I used to watch the reruns everyday. The window thing was always fun!

Hey Sue. I always loved this show. I still watch it. I did always love seeing who would open the window next.

THIS must be why I love SAMMY so much ...

Subliminally it must have gone back to my youth and the days of watching BATMAN as a kid.

Hey Anthony. I never thought about it that way. Very cool idea. Yeah, I loved this show. I also would hear Sammy's records at my grandmother's house. It was awesome to actually see him on one of my favorite shows.

That's funny. I obviously wasn't old enough to experience that show in it's original run (I'm 25 y/o) but I saw a few in repeats back in the 90's. Man do I miss that. Hopefully it's on DVD somewhere....

I was born in 1970. I saw the show in reruns as a kid. I still watch it today. I actually don't think the show's been put on DVD for some reason. The movie they did between the first two seasons is on DVD though.
