I watch the Chabad Telethon every year. It's to raise funds for a great cause. The Chabad Houses around the globe have been a real blessing in the lives of so many. They aid countless people in need, both Jews and Gentiles, through a variety of programs. Each year's telethon features wonderful stars performing on the show. This clip comes from 1986. It's Sammy Davis Jr., who was a convert to Judaism, performing The Candy Man.

Hello Keith. What a wonderful clip! I've watched the telethon myself over the years. They do often have great guests up there. It is definitely for a worthy cause.
Hey Phoebe. Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I thought it was pretty cool. Those telethons can be quite enjoyable to watch. Cheers!
Hey pallie Keith, likes never ever heard of that 'cause before...very nice....
Hey pallie DMP. Thanks for the comments. I guess you heard about the terrorist attacks in India the other month. They mentioned that a rabbi, his wife, etc. were killed at a Jewish center. That was a Chabad House. They do so much for both Jews and Gentiles.
A most worthy cause. All the very best for 2009, Keith.
I remember those days when the Candy Man was played on the radio.
Great song - great clip thanks for the link Keith.

Hey Steve. Thanks. I'm glad you agree. Cheers!
Hey Glenn. Thanks for the comments. I'm glad you liked it. This is probably the first song I remember hearing from Sammy when I was growing up.
