Jackie Gleason On Cosmo
I absolutely love this Cosmopolitan magazine cover featuring Jackie Gleason. I'm a big fan of the legendary entertainer. I remember that I watched reruns of The Jackie Gleason Show when I was a kid. That variety show was actually one of the things that helped get me interested in the things that I love to this day. I've watched Jackie in everything from The Hustler to the Smokey and the Bandit trilogy to The Toy. Jackie was a good pallie of the Rat Pack, especially with Frank Sinatra. I hope you like this cover too. The look on Jackie's face is priceless.

Hey pallie DMP. Thanks for the comments. Oh yeah. I'm a fan of many entertainers. Jackie is one that I really like. Dino is my favorite of all time, but I like plenty of others as well.

i love the cover too! It has a timeless sexuality to it. You could easily see it on the newstands today.

I am a subscriber of Cosmopolitan, and a huge fan of magazine covers. Love this one! :)
I'm not sure if anyone else noticed the similarities, but The Flintstones was almost a carbon copy of The Honeymooners. Fred/Ralph, Wilma/Alice, Barney/Ed, Betty/Trixie. Even their voices were almost identical. Good stuff.
So Keith, did you enable comment moderation because you've gotten insulting comments in the past? Well, I find that hard to believe. This site is awesome. If anyone thinks otherwise, they're just plain stupid!

Hey Joe. Thanks for the comments. I think always think that was cool about the Honeymooners/Flintstones. I enabled comment moderation because I was warned by other bloggers when I started off that it would be a good way to avoid spam, etc. I've had some spam, etc. sent my way.

I love Jackie Gleason. He was a terrific comedic actor and very few people know how incredible a musician he was. He made such beautiful music!
