P.S. I wanted to post a clip of one of my favorite Christmas songs. This is Little Saint Nick by the Beach Boys. I love this song so much. It's very catchy. I hope you enjoy it.

Those are wonderful ads! I especially like the one with Jackie Gleason, as I love the Honeymooners :)
Great post honey! I love that KFC ad! Thanks for visiting today and commenting on my Home Alone post. I hope you have a great Friday! Kori xoxo
These are great--the J&B one is excellent.
Love the Jack Benny ad. We kids used to pull our money and buy my Dad a carton of Luckies for Christmas. What a difference 50 years can make!
Love all of them! My favourites are the vintage lady with the box of cigarettes and the one where the lady is waking up in bed with faces all around her!
Wish I could give hubby that J&B box as a gift ; I'm a sucker for vintage wrappings and boxes !
These are amazing :o]
Keith, you've done a wonderful research. I love these vintage ads.
It is so much fun to see all these old adds! The camera made me laugh.;)
Love the clip, I too think this is a wonderful Christmas song.
Have a lovely Friday,
xo

Loved listening to the beach boys song.

Great stuff, Keith! Liquor, cigarettes and snow -- now that's the Christmas spirit, I say.
Another great post!! : ) Have a stunning wknd xx
Oh, what a delightful display! My favorite is the add for "Lucky Strikes" with the beautiful girl in red hat.:-) I find vintage adds to be so interesting and charming. A week ago I came across vinatge add done in watercolors for Nina Ricci and Lanvin. They are so much more beautiful than modern adds.
P.S. Still hard to believe that cigarettes were suggested as Christmas Gift just several decadeds ago.:-)
I love vintage ads, i have quite a few now that i don't know what o do with :)
Is that Dick Van Dyke in one of the ads or someone who looks remarkably like him??
I'd love to have some of that J&B. These are all cool ads. I've never seen any of these before. I love that Beach Boys song.
These are so great. Everything from booze to cigarettes to chicken. Sounds like we could all have quite the party.
Great ads Keith. I always loved Ann Sothern. To bad she smoked :-)
Keith:
I have no idea where you find all these, but it takes me way back to a really nice time growing up.
(makes all those times I snuck a peek at Dad's ARGOSY magazines worth it...LOL)
It's a pleasure to see these here.
Thanks for the memories.
Have a great weekend.

I didn't know that Christmas song. It's different but I like it.
Oh that first Strike ad reminds me of the pilot episode of Mad Men. "It's toasted". lol
love these!!!
Ohmigosh Dick van Dyke for The Handle...that is classic!! I have never seen any of these before - love them all! You always find such amazing stuff, Keith!! :)

great selection of Christmas ads from years gone by - love the KFC and Jackie Gleason ones
These are so much more beautiful than the ads that are present today! Is Dick VanDyke in the ad for "The Handle?" I swear, it looks just like him, though I could be completely off base!
I hope you're doing well, Keith!
FANTASTIC POST !!!
I love all of your selections !!!
