The second season of Sean "Diddy" Combs' reality series I Want To Work For Diddy has recently premiered on VH1. Combs seems to be everywhere. His Bad Boy empire stretches from music to fashion to television and beyond. Combs has his hands in a lot of different pies. He's one of the richest entertainers in the hip hop universe. I know there are a lot of people who don't like him for one reason or the other, but I don't think there's any denying that the man has great style. Combs has described his personal style as "Swagger. Timeless. Diverse." Judge for yourself.

Fonzworth Bentley Called The Hip Hop Sammy Davis Jr.
I'm always intrigued to find those men of today who are cool and stylish. They hearken back to the Rat Pack era. Fonzworth Bentley has got to be one of those gentlemen. I'm not sure how many of you have ever heard of him. Mr. Bentley's real name is Derrick Watkins. He first burst on the scene as the personal assistant of Sean "Diddy" Combs. Bentley would make appearances on Diddy's reality series Making The Band 2. He also appeared in quite a few music videos for various artists. Fonzworth Bentley is the host of the MTV series From G's to Gents. He has also released both an album C.O.L.O.U.R.S. and a book Advance Your Swagger.
Mr. Bentley has been called by himself and others a hip hop version of Sammy Davis Jr. He definitely sees that hip cat Sammy as one of his role models. He speaks quite often of the fashion and style of the Harlem Renaissance. It's great to see a modern day man doing his part to revive the art of the gentleman. I'm posting a lot of pictures of Fonzworth Bentley so you get a chance to see what he's all about. I'm also posting the music video of his song Everybody (which features Kanye West & Andre 3000) and a video of him on the set for a Giant magazine shoot.

I Am King By Sean Combs
I think it's important for a man to smell nice. I've been looking for a new fragrance to try out. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks for any advice.
Anybody know what sort of cologne any of the Rat Packers might have worn? I have no clue about that.
I've seen all the promotion for I Am King by Sean Combs. I wasn't sure if it was a good scent or not. I've read some mixed reaction about it. I will admit that I like the marketing for it though. It's promoting a lifestyle and attitude that I'm sure many men will find appealing.
Here are some ads for it, plus a mini-movie (it's like five minutes long) that I hope you will check out.

Sean "Diddy" Combs Advertises For Ciroc Vodka
A recent comment by Chi-Chi (she does a fantastic blog focusing on urban entertainment called Urban Hoopla) sparked this particular post.
A few months ago I posted a commercial that Sean "Diddy" Combs had done for Ciroc Vodka. The commercial featured Frank Sinatra's Come Fly With Me. Click here for that post.

I decided to repost that commercial here as well as some other clips and pictures I hope you will enjoy.

Here's a short clip, using an instrumental version of Come Fly With Me, where Diddy talks about drinking responsibly. Check it out.

Here's the latest commercial for Ciroc Video. This one doesn't feature Sinatra's tune, but instead Flashing Lights by Kanye West. I still thought I would post it here.
I hope you enjoyed this post. It's a little something different here. I'm trying to do some other things to keep this blog fresh and interesting. I've had some readers who have given me feedback that they would love to see some about my other interests. I know some people come here just because of Dean Martin and nothing else. I still plan to post plenty about him and the rest of the Rat Pack. I want to, however, do other posts that reflect my other interests and the type of lifestyle that I want to live. I hope that all of you will bear with me and that you will like the different posts I do here. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

Diddy Channels Sinatra In Ciroc Vodka Commercial
I saw this commercial the other day on television. I loved it so much that I had to post in on this blog. It's Sean "Diddy" Combs advertising for Ciroc Vodka. The commercial has a Rat Pack vibe to it, including using Frank Sinatra's Come Fly With Me (one of my favorite Frankie tunes). It's a pretty cool and hip commercial. I love it. I know that Combs is a big fan of the Rat Pack, especially Sinatra. I think it's amazing that so many of the stars of today want to emulate the Rat Pack. I sure can't blame them one bit. Cheers!
