It was on this day in 1964 that Dean Martin's Everybody Loves Somebody knocked the Beatles' Hard Day's Night out of #1. It's so awesome that it took the King of Cool himself to knock the biggest band in the world out of the top spot. Here's a video clip of Dino and the Duke performing this tune on The Dean Martin Variety Show. This video always cracks me up. These two were always great together. I hope you enjoy it. Cheers!

I love this song. This is a really funny video. I don't think I have ever seen this one before. I really wish we could watch all these episodes today.
Me too. It's definitely Dino's signature song. I love how it took Dino to knock the Beatles out of the top spot. That's so cool.
Hey pallie Keith, glads to see that you are also takin' advantage of sharin' our Dino's amazin' accomplishment on this very important day in Dinohistory...just posted a vid of an original recordin' of "Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime" to honor our Dino on his stellar Dinoaccomplishment...
Hey pallie DMP. Yeah, I saw your post about this day. I left you some Dinopatter there. I think it's great for both of us to make mention of this special day. It is a date that needs to be celebrated.
Dino is da bomb!
Hey Paul. I totally agree!
Must have been quite a day for Dean and good to see it celebrated here.
Thanks Steve. I think that was a big surprise back then that Dino could knock the Beatles out of #1. It's definitely a day that Dino fans love to celebrate.
Hey Keith,
Did you know Dean sent Elvis a telegram on the day he did this telling him about since The Beatles had been giving him so much trouble on the charts...great song and what a feat!
Hey Jeremy. Thanks for the comments. Yeah, I had heard that. I thought it was really cool. I'm really proud of Dino for this.
Haha @ Jeremy Richey. I'm not all too happy about it but I guess if anyone had to do it, why not Dean Martin?
I did think it was cool that it took Dino to do this.
