Diana Ross & Sammy Davis Jr.

Diana-Sammy

I love this photo of Diana Ross and Sammy Davis Jr. Does anybody know when and where this was?

P.S. This is an addition to the post already set up. I've also got some really bad news. I'm really ticked off over this. I've got an idea of who it might be, but that doesn't change anything. Somebody hacked into my Blogger account and MySpace account. They deleted both of my That Black Magic pages. I have changed my password. I'm very upset. I had spent a lot of time and energy on those pages. I was really excited about the prospects of what I could do with this new endeavor of mine. If it's the person I think it is, they did it out of hatred and prejudice. I actually had a couple of racists angry with me that I, as a white man, would want to do such a page. They said I should be ashamed of myself for what I was doing. They called me a traitor to my own race and a bunch of other horrible stuff. I ignored it. I've been called much worse in the past. I didn't think they would so something like this. I have no proof it was them. I can't see who it would have been otherwise. I wanted to let all of you know what's going on.

I'm really sorry to hear that Keith. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but no one has the right to delete your pages. I really hope you sort this out soon.

So when I saw what had happened at My Space I came over to your blog only to find it gone too! I hadn't even had a chance to get over there to catch up!! This is incredible. The person should be ashamed of themselves. I'm just sitting here shaking my head in disgust and anger. What business is it of anyones?
Keith you are stand up guy and I'm really sorry this happened to you.
Love, Sue

Hey Cocktails: Thanks. I appreciate that. If they want to feel that way, then that's their biz. They don't have the right to delete my stuff.

Hey DMP: Thanks pallie. I appreciate your kind words.

I do still have my Sugar & Spice blog. For those who love Dean Martin & the Rat Pack, there will be times I'll post pictures, etc. that feature them. You might want to keep your eyes open for that.

Hey Sue. Thanks for your comments. I appreciate them. I still can't get over this. I'm so angry and sad. I put a lot of time and heart into that blog and page. It ticks me off that somebody let their prejudices lead them to do such a thing. I just don't have the time to redo it all now. Plus I would always worry about it happening again. I'll just focus right now on this and my other blog. Thanks for your comments over there.

Hey Steve. Thanks. I appreciate that. I'm still ticked off over it. I can't believe it happened. I'm just going to concentrate on this blog and my Sugar & Spice blog. I hope you will like what I post there. I'm sure you will. It's hot babes of the 60's and 70's.

Really bad about the racist hackers and plain old fashioned assholes. I am not sure what measures you can use to prevent this. I Guess none of our sites are 100% safe if some one with the skill wants to target it for their own twisted reasons, and their are a little of weird, sick people on the net. They get off on the pain they cause. Most likely the culprit is reading this now and feeling victorious and brilliant.

maybe the info is backed up somewhere,, like an RSS feed? I normally write all my stuff in Word and Notepad and save all my pics. Every post has a folder on my hard drive and this saved me over the summer when I had serious issues and had to change host providers and URLs and in I had only a copy hours to back up all my data for the site went off line. I drank late night coffee and got the job done and later reposted each one... one past at a time and have the site back.

Worpress has some back up option but I am not sure how it works. I can back up all my data on my hard drive periodically then reload it later if I need to. I do not know if you can do this and i am certainly going to go read on this option now more.

Sorry buddy

Hey Bill. Thanks. I appreciate that very much. It means a lot to me. I'm still really angry and upset over it. I can't believe that someone would do that. There are a lot of creeps, racist or not, out there. If you don't like a particular site, just don't go to it. Nobody is forcing you to check out any page that you find offensive for some reason. I'm sure they might be checking out to see what I do next.

I'm not really sure what I can do. I think honestly I'm just not even going to bother. I had done a MySpace page that was deleted too. It took me forever to get it set up like I wanted it. I think I'm too frustrated now to even think about starting over. Plus I probably don't time for all of it anyway. I probably tried to bite off more than I can chew. I'm going to concentrate on this Dino Lounge blog and the Sugar & Spice blog. I've also got a page for each on MySpace. That's keep me pretty busy. I'll post what I can about black entertainers than fit in with either this blog or the other one.

Thanks again. It was nice hearing from you. I hope you will continue to check out/comment on this blog and my other one. Take care. Cheers!

That's horrible man and I'm sorry to hear that happened to you but it seems things worked out for you. What doesn't kill you (or your blog), makes you stronger of course...
