Here's a photo of Paul Lynde with Elizabeth Montgomery on Bewitched, one of my favorite shows of the 60's.
I grew up as a huge fan of Paul Lynde. I always found him to be so hilarious. I remember seeing him on everything from Bewitched to Hollywood Squares. There's also that awesome Halloween special he did in the mid-70's. Paul appeared on Dean Martin's show. Here are some really funny clips featuring Paul and Dino. I hope you enjoy them.

I adore Paul Lynde. He always reminded me of one of my uncles. These are very funny clips. Hard to pick a favorite though.
These clips are definitely hilarious. These guys had me cracking up so much.
Hey Phoebe. Thanks. Glad you enjoyed these clips. I bet your uncle was something else if Paul reminds you of him.

Hilarious and then some. Paul Lynde on Hollywood Squares was some of the funniest stuff I've seen on television.
These are so funny :)
I love Bewitched!! I've seen Paul Lynde in other things (like The Glass Bottom Boat, where he's hilarious!) but I'll always remember him from Bewitched!
That first shot is just fantastic! I loved watching (reruns of) Bewitched when I was growing up, but it's been years since I've seen the show. Hopefully I'll catch the episode you mentioned one day (more channels up here north of the 49th really need to rerun that show! ;D).
Wishing you a fantastic Thursday,
♥ Jessica
So fun! :-)
XoXO
Thanks for sharing. The clips are so funny.
Paul Lynde is familiar, but I do not know much about him. This shows that my upbringing was in the Eastern Bloc and I was not exposed to many American entertainers.
I enjoyed all the clips, in fact I will have to return to see them all over again.;)

not until i saw it on your blog.
i've only watched 1 video here and it's indeed

I caught Bewitched as re-runs, I liked it too. And I was a fan of Paul Lynde. I think he was one of the voices in the movie "Charlotte's Web".

Hey Insider. Thanks so much. I'm really happy that I can share a slice of this bygone era with people like you.
"Bewitched" is one of my favorite shows also, as a child I was fascinated with the "magic" of her.
Damn these are great. I have a bunch of the DM show on DVD. They're too thin on Paul Lynde unfortunately but plenty of Rickles, Newhart and Peter Sellers. Thanks man.
OMG I don't know the name Paul Lynde - but he must be the guy that did It's The Wolf and a ton of cartoon voices..
Smoking and drinking around the piano - love it.
Paul Lynde was amazing! I remember watching Bewitched when I was younger, I used to love it :) Hope you're having a wonderful day.
Great videos and I love the Betwitched frame Keith!! I still watch that show on TVLand every once in awhile :)

Hey Autumn. Thanks so much. I'm thrilled that you enjoyed this post. That means a lot. Take care. Cheers!
I loved Paul Lynde as a kid. A lot is said these days about his closeted lifestyle, but as a kid I just saw him as eccentric.
Have you ever seen Richard Dawson impersonate him spontaneously from time to time on Match Game? Funny stuff.
I still have yet to see his '70s Halloween special; gotta check that out.
My mother and I were huge Uncle Arthur fans in the days of Bewitched. He was our favorite relative on Samantha's side. I also enjoyed him very much on Hollywood Squares. Your blog is so much fun and so informative on Hollywood's Heyday.
Have a great weekend.
Hey FilmFather. Thanks for commenting. As a kid, I didn't know all the details about his personal life. I thought he was pretty eccentric. He was always hilarious.
Not seen Richard Dawson do that impersonation. That is awesome. I've seen a character or two in movies do it though.
His Halloween Special has got to be seen. Hope you get a chance.
Hey Cheryl Lynn. Thanks so much. I always thought Paul was great as Uncle Arthur. He was my favorite relative of Samanatha's. He was also fantastic on Hollywood Squares. I'm so glad you enjoy my blog. Cheers!
Uber Cool :o]
Thanks Terence.
Great stuff! Thanks for sharing this.
Thanks Ope. Glad you liked it.
I used to love Paul Lynde on Bewitched too - they had some great bit part players on that show, didn't they? I also liked it when Montgomery dressed up as her sassy "cousin" Sabrina (?). But Paul Lynde was awesome - I've watched the top one here - classic hilarity - am looking forward to watching all of them! Have a great weekend!
Hey Sam. Thanks for commenting. Paul was definitely one of the highlights of that show. Glad you enjoyed the first clip. I'm sure you will like the other ones as well. Cheers!

Thanks Monica!
