Sammy's calling all his pallies up to see if anybody wants to come over and listen to some tunes. I'm up for it. What about you?
I found this tribute video dedicated to Sammy. What makes this video so awesome is that it features Sammy's hip version of My Way. I'm sure a lot of people have heard Frank Sinatra and/or Elvis Presley perform this song. Sammy goes a totally different route with his rendition of this tune.

I actually like it! i never really cared to much for Elvis's. And Well, Frank can never go wrong with me. --why am i talking like i know these people? --i just admire them so much, they are "friends in my head" as Wendy Williams would say. lol
I'm always up to hear some tunes spun by Sammy.
I really wish I could've seen him perform just once.
I would most certainly love to hang out with you guys. I'm sure Sammy would be a very cool dj. I love his cover of My Way. I had never heard it before. It's totally different from what Frank or Elvis did.
Hey Autumn. Thanks. I thought his version of My Way was very cool. Frank knocks that song out of the ballpark. I do like Elvis' version, but Frank always did it better to me. Don't worry about it. They are friends in my head too. lol
Hey Jami. Thanks for commenting. I love hearing Sammy tunes. I always regret that I never got a chance to see him perform.

I love Sammy, and I have NEVER heard his version of "My Way" like that before! Sounds like late '60s, early '70s...?
Does anybody know what album it's from, or where I can get it?
Never mind...I just jumped to the YouTube page for that video and got my answer:
SAMMY PICTURE SHOW WITH HIS "MY WAY" FROM THE 1970 MOTOWN LP "SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE"
You can count to me too!
