The first James Bond movie I ever saw was For Your Eyes Only, which was released in 1981. I saw it at my local drive-in. It was actually the last movie I ever saw there. I loved this movie so much. It was my introduction to the world of 007. I was around 10 when I saw it. I have seen every Bond movie since then at the theater. I would go on to see the previous ones either on television or video. While Sean Connery is my favorite Bond, I'll always have a special place in my heart for Roger Moore. Plus Moore is actually the favorite Bond of both of my siblings. Here are some posters from the seven Bond films that Roger Moore made from 1973 to 1985. Which is your favorite?
Live And Let Die (1973)
The Man With The Golden Gun (1974)
The Spy Who Loved Me (1977)
Moonraker (1979)
For Your Eyes Only (1981)
Octopussy (1983)
A View To A Kill (1985)
P.S. I hope you'll check out my latest post at Celluloid Slammer. It's a video featuring some very sexy Playboy Bunnies. If I could make my own time machine, I would definitely be visiting some of the Playboy Clubs of the past. Please feel free to leave some comments on that blog post. I'd love to know what you think of that video. Thanks.

James Bond forever! And "For Your Eyes Only", all time classic!
He is another James Bond that I love.
Thanks Meraldia. I will always love this movie.
Hey Leah. Thanks. My bro and sis both really love him.
James Bond is awesome!! Great posters!! Can't wait for the new movie!

Man With The Golden Gun, you just don't get artwork like that anymore! He is definitely my second favourite after Connery. Hope you're having a wonderful weekend :)
Hey Stiletto. Thanks. I'm glad to see you're a Bond fan. I'm always eager for the next movie in the franchise.
Hey Dapper. Thanks. I love that poster. The artwork of that era was so awesome. I do really like Roger. I had a great weekend. Hope the same for you.
Oh man, you must have hated my Bond Awards. I was not nice to Roger Moore ;)
Sick selection of eye poppin' one sheet posters for Mr. Moore as 007! Remember a bunch of hubbub about the For Your Eyes Only poster during the films release, with some theaters censoring the buttocks.
Hey E.K. No, I was okay with them. LOL Sean Connery is my favorite Bond. I like Roger Moore, but he's no Connery.
Hey Scott. Thanks for commenting. Glad you enjoyed these posters. Yeah, I bet there was some debate over the poster for FYEO. I love that poster.
My eyes are glued to that poster of "For Your Eyes Only."
nice blog =)
x
Roger was also my first James Bond. These are some cool posters. Much better than the posters of today.
Hey Wolf. Mine too.
Thanks Julia.
Hey Phoebe. I thought you told me Roger was your first 007. I love posters of the 60's and 70's.
Live and Let Die has such an amazing poster! I'm loving it! =)
I hope you have a wonderful weekend... and hopefully some of those healthy recipes are great! It's hard getting back into a good routine of exercise and everything! (As I'm learning through being at school!).
This was such a fun post!
Without a doubt: "Live and Let Die" and "A View to a Kill". I like Roger - we share the same birthday! It is my dream some day to own every single James Bond film on DVD - I'd even buy "On her Majesty's Secret Service" even though it's my least favourite.
Roger Moore is not my fave Bond but these posters are just fantastic!
xoxox,

Great posters :), hope you are having a fantastic weekend!
Hey Allison. Thanks. Glad you liked the LALD poster. I love all these posters. I'm happy you enjoyed this post. I really liked your post on healthy eating, etc. Very good ideas there. Enjoy the week ahead.
Hey Sam. Thanks for commenting. Glad to see you're a Bond fan. I want to own all the movies on DVD myself. Being cash strapped sure has a lot of disadvantages. Sorry you're not a fan of OHMSS. I really like that one.
Hey Carrie. Thanks. He's not my favorite Bond either, but I do like these posters.
Hey Fab. Glad you think Bond is cool. Me too.
Hey Stephanie. Thanks. That is a good dream for a girl to have.
Hey Housewife. Thanks. I'm having a good weekend. Hope you did.
I just love these posters, it's hard to pick a fav movie but I think I really liked A View to A Kill. Duran Duran sang the song which I liked too. Though Sean is my fav overall Bond. mmmm maybe Craig is giving him a run for his money.
xx
Greta post. Bond, James Bond. A CLASSIC. :)
I like it when Timothy Dalton played him as well.
Thanks for the comment!
Seriously - who does not appreciate a bountiful of Bond movies?! It's "all" good!
Love Bond... I've seen every single movie :) You can never get enough of Bond... James Bond :P
Hey Dustjacket. Thanks for commenting. I do love all these movies. I also loved Duran Duran's theme song for AVTAK. I like all the actors who have played Bond.
Hey Fashion. Thanks for your comment. I really liked Timothy Dalton. I don't think he gets enough credit for his take on the character. I'll be posting him shortly.
Hey Dumbwit. Thanks. I could have a Bond marathon right now and be very happy.
Hey Marta. That's so cool. I've seen all of them myself. Right now I'm going back and watching them all again with my sister. She had never seen them before getting hooked.
That was my first James Bond movie in a theatre too! I think I'm a little older than you...but thought it was a whole lot of fun! Thanks for always stopping by Keith, your comments are always appreciated!
xoxoxo
Hey Veronica. Thanks. That's so cool that this was your first Bond movie. I don't think I was quite 11 yet when I saw this. You are very welcome about my comments on your blog. I always like what you post there.
james forever!i love A View To A Kill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Octopussy's poster is the funniest but I must say Moonraker is so Barbarellaesque... Thanks for these 007 memories.
i'll have to pick two!
live and let die + for your eyes only.
My first Bond movie, the first one ever I saw in a Cinema was "Never Say Never Again". I loved the chemistry between Sean Connery and Kim Basinger.;)
Of all the posters you list here "For Your Eyes Only" is my favorite.:)
Thank you! I am a true James Bond girl, as I have brothers who played the tapes until they broke. I couldn't choose one over an other.

Hey Glay. I always loved the song from AVTAK.
Hey La Flore. Thank you. I'm so glad you enjoyed these.
Hey Insider. Those are both really cool ones. Great choices.
Hey Protege. I would go on to see Never Say Never Again at the movies. I do plan to cover that one. I really love the FYEO poster myself.
Hey Juliet. Thanks for commenting. That's cool that you're a Bond fan. It doesn't get much better than 007. Cheers!
The Spy Who Loved is my fave (and a great soundtrack too) when I saw it at the cinema the entire audience clapped as the Union Jack parachute opened - Live and Let Die was the first Bond film I saw at the pictures
Hey Dave. I love The Spy Who Loved Me. BBC America was doing a marathon of Moore's Bond movies. That's so cool about the audience cheering when the Union Jack come up. I do love that flag.
Love the early 70's Roger Moore Bond. Connery is still on the tops though. This new kid ain't half bad either...but nothing can compare to 60's & 70's spies.
Hey Chris. Thanks. Yeah, the 60's belonged to Connery and the 70's to Moore. I like Craig, but there's nothing like classic Bond.
I grew up in the Roger Moore era as well. The drive-in's were always a lot of fun, I guess they weren't a good business model because not too many around any more.
Cool post BTW ...
Hey Jim. Thanks. Glad you liked this posts. I miss drive-ins. There was something so cool about them. Much prefer them over the cinemas of today. I rarely go to the movies anymore. I'm a Netflix guy now.
they were both good. don't shoot me for this, but daniel craig is awfully cute, so i am ok with him being 007 now. :)
Hey Droll. Thanks for commenting. Nothing wrong with that. My sis thinks Daniel Craig looks good.
The first Bond I ever saw was "Octopussy", I had totally forgotten that till I saw this post! lol
Hey Maggi. I'm glad I could remind you of what your first Bond film was.
I adore A View to Kill. That poster is gorgeous! :)
For Your Eyes Only is SO the best:)
It's amazing how crowded those others are-very different from today...
I'm a Sean girl though!
heading over to check out your other post!
bisous, xx
Thanks Erika. I love that one too.
Hey kpeach. I prefer Connery, but I grew up with Moore as Bond. I do like these posers.
Hey La C. Thanks.
omg...I like so many of them! I think that the man with the golden gun and view from a kill are my faves. I remember the song from view from a kill...it was duran duran, no? sigh...
great finds!!
They're so cool and classy!
Octopussy for the name and then A view to a kill for the SF factor. I have to be honest Keith. I loved Pierce Bronson and a little Sean. Can we still be friends?
OMG, it's ROGEEEEER. I love him so much. You know you got to give your props to Sean but I still can't help it love me some Roger Moore. :)
Great posters Keith! My fave is 'For Your Eyes Only'... I don't have a favorite Bond, but I really wish I did. Will have to watch more 007 films so I can develop a more concrete opinion on the matter. :)
ahhhh! I love For Your Eyes Only! those legs go on for days!
Hey Monica. Thanks. Those are good ones you named. I'm a big fan of these movies. Yeah, it was Duran Duran that did AVTAK.
Thanks Cathy. Glad you liked them.
Hey Laura. Thanks. Connery is my favorite. Moore might have been my first Bond, but he's not my favorite out of them. I like Pierce too. Of course we can be friends.
Hey Steph. Thanks for commenting. Yeah, I know how much you love Roger. I do really dig him myself. He was the Bond that introduced me to the world of 007. Connery is still the man in my eyes.
Hey Gabbi. Thanks. I love the poster of FYEO. I hope you do get a chance to see more of the movies. Most people that watch all of them do tend to have a favorite Bond among them.
Hey Clare. Thanks. The FYEO poster is really awesome. Very sexy girl up there.
awesome collection. the Live and Let Die one is just so full of detail. one of the best movie posters of all time in my book.
Hey Wiec. Thanks. Glad you enjoyed these. I know what you mean about the LALD poster.
oh, MAN!!!! does ANYone NOT LOVE BOND? i could never pick a favorite - cause they are all favorites - and i've always loved movie posters - all of them! thanks so much for a "bonding" trip down memory lane!!! and many thanks for dropping by my place, keith - your visits always a ray of sunshine! have a great remainder of the day, mister!
