Frank Sinatra Wants To Fly To The Moon
One of my favorite tunes by Frank Sinatra is Fly Me To The Moon. I don't think I've ever posted this particular video before. It's from his special A Man & His Music II.

I love the A Man and His Music series -- I was so excited when TCM played them last year, so now I have them on tape :) I love the duets he did with his daughter, especially.
Hey Kate. Thanks for commenting. I love those specials so much. I was thrilled myself when they were aired last year. His stuff with Nancy was great. I definitely recommend A Man & His Music.
Love love love Frank S & this photo is amazing. One of my son's name is FRANK!
Great post & goodmorning from Sweden and goodnight to you!
Agneta
Hey Agneta. Thanks for commenting. I'm glad to see you really like Frank. That's cool about your son. Have a great day. I'm heading off to bed.
Great Sinatra number and Nelson Riddle always adds to the lush sounds.
I love Frank. LOVE.

Nice to see!
That song reminds me of the movie Once Around. Great movie and great song!

I have a post about the moon today, coincidentally.;)
I love that tune; what do you think about the Michael Buble version?
Super cool!! I am also a big fan of "New York New York" - on a fantastic stereo that song is just incredible!!!
Great video Keith.

Thanks Jim. Glad you enjoyed it.
Frank. Great music and great style.
I particularly like the menswear of the 50s and 60s. Some might say those were dull decades (especially the 50s) but watching Cary Grant escaping and chasing in a suit is not dull!
Hey Man. Thanks for commenting. I love the men's fashion of the 50's and 60's. There's nothing boring about it at all. I totally agree with you on Cary Grant. I've actually got a post coming up on him very soon.
I love this song. It's one of my favorite Frank Sinatra songs.
With the Cirque du Soleil guy?
fun fun fun!
So Frank wants to be an astronaut? lol
Swing-o-matic.. I found the funkiest version of Fly Me To The Moon ever last week - I'll blog it soon(ish)
Thanks Phoebe. It is an awesome tune.
Hey Kira. Yeah, that would be cool.
Hey Wolf. I would fly on a spaceship with him as the captain.
Hey Dave. Thanks. That's cool. I can't wait to check that out.
Oh yeah! Totally one of my all time favorite Sinatra songs!

Great song. Is there anyone better than Frank?
Such a classic! He is just so suave!
Oh, Frankie. He is great. I still like Dino better. But you have to admit Frank is still cool. :)
aw, this song is a keeper. for sure.
will you be sinatra for halloween? please? and do take pictures. :)
So awesome. Remember the good old days when entertainment could be as simple as watching someone with (talent) simply stand there and sing? Sinatra, Tom Jones, Dino.. they all had awesome TV shows and the second they started singing.. you had no choice but to hang on EVERY note! I'll tell you.. it's a sorry state today compared to the talent of yesteryear.
Woah frank looks awesome in this photo! So dashing! And wonderful song too!
Hey Carrie. Thanks. I'm really glad you loved this post.
Hey Leah. Thanks. I'm happy that you also enjoy this song so much.
Hey Erika. Thanks. I really dig this photo of Frank too.

Hey Rachel. Thanks. I couldn't have described Frank any better.
Hey Steph. Thanks. Yeah, I love Dino better. But I do still dig Frank.
Hey Droll. Thanks for commenting. I doubt I'm going to be Sinatra or anybody else for Halloween. lol
Hey Dad. Thanks for your comment. I totally agree with you. These guys had talent. They could entertain us like nobody else. There is nobody out there today quite like that. I miss these guys.
Hey Clare. Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed the photo and video. Cheers!
I have this DVD at home. I bought two of them when I was in Paris the last year. I didn't have much idea what I was buying but I am glad, I did buy them. It is an amazing piece of the history of Sinatra.
Hey Kristyna. Thanks for commenting. That's so cool that you bought it. Yeah, it's definitely something that anybody who likes Sinatra should have if they can get it.
Love this song too no one sings it better than Frank!
Thanks Mel. You are so right on that.
