Dino, Desi, & Billy: Daddy-O Dean Martin Had To Be Proud

Dean Paul, the son of Dean Martin, formed a group in the 1960's with his friends Desi Arnaz, Jr. (the son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) and Billy Hinsche (who would later go on to work with the Beach Boys). The name of the group was Dino, Desi & Billy. They became teen heartthrobs. The boys had several hit tunes, including I'm A Fool and Not The Lovin' Kind. I'm posting a couple of pictures of them. The first is them appearing on The Dean Martin Variety Show. The other one is of the boys signing some autographs for some lovely stewardesses.

Dino, Desi, and Billy were also in THE SILENCERS. I believe Dino called Dean "Dad."

Carol: They were in "Murderer's Row." I think he called him daddy-o. It was a cool scene.

DMP: Thanks. I'm sure he was definitely proud that his offspring headed into the entertainment biz. I do wonder what Dino Jr. might have accomplished if he had stayed in it.

I'm sure Dean was proud of Dean Paul. We know how his son's death really hurt him. He was already in declining health. Dean Paul's death just added to that. I do love a lot of the songs I've ever heard from DD&B. They are still catchy tunes today.

NSF: These are cool pictures of the boys. Thanks for your comments. Dean was definitely heartbroken by the death of his son. It is such a shame that this happened. We lost Dean Paul and Dean.

Love the pics. Not surprised by how tailored the boys looked b/c of their respective fathers. This is Sartorial heaven haha.

Thanks. Glad you liked the photos. I love their style. It's no surprise considering their parents.
