It's from the 1970 film Airport. It was based on the 1968 novel of the same name by Arthur Hailey. The plot centered on an airport struggling to stay open during a massive snowstorm, while a suicidal passenger plans to blow up a plane in flight. The film starred a huge ensemble cast, which included Dean Martin, Burt Lancaster, George Kennedy, Helen Hayes, Jean Seberg, Jacqueline Bisset, Van Helfin, Barry Nelson, Gary Collins, Maureen Stapleton, etc. Dean Martin played pilot Captain Vernon Demerest. The film was a huge blockbuster, which also achieved a lot of critical acclaim. It received countless Oscar nominations. Helen Hayes won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. The film spawned several sequels and helped launched the disaster film genre.

Here's a movie trailer done for the film by a fan:

Hey, Keith! That film sounds so awesome. I'm going to rent it, if they have it at the video library. I love how flying had such a glamourous feel back in the day, not like now where you can fly anywhere for 20 dollars, or something. Also in the film "Catch Me If You Can", you can observe what kind of privileges pilots emjoyed half a century ago... Oh my, half a century... That sounds like so long ago. :(
Have a good one!

Hey Cate. Thanks for the comments. It is a really cool film. I think you'll enjoy it. Dean Martin was great in it as well as the rest of the cast. Flying definitely had a glam feel to it back in this era. I've seen plenty of pictures, footage, etc. of airplanes from that time period. It looked like such an enjoyable pleasure to fly back then. I liked "Catch Me If You Can." Take care. Have a great day. Cheers!
