I'm dying to know what that article, "Your dog is in cruel danger" is about, and what the date on that is.
I like the third one, it's really cool and I think Sidney is such a gentleman.
xx
WoW! So fantastic!
XoXo
lovely images love d first Sinatra cover :o]
Raquel Welch takes the prize.
She has been my idol for years when I was younger.
Her motto to be Forty, Fit & Firm has always stuck in the back of my mind.
Even today she is still so beautiful!
Thanks for the trip down memory lane:)
nr 1 is my favourite, i wouldn't even mind having it framed on my wall!
where did you find these?
Thanks Uninvoked for commenting. I think the magazine says it's from Feb. 1966.
Hey Dustjacket. Thanks. That is a really good one. I agree about Sidney.
Thanks Janet. I'm happy you liked these.
Thanks Terence. Yeah, that is a really cool one.
Hey Dorothy. Thanks. I love that one. Raquel is incredibly beautiful, both then and now. I really love that one myself.
Hey Insider. Thanks. That one is one of my favorites. I can't remember how I found them. I usually find these things through Google.
Gotta be roller-girl Raquel. It's just so 70s
Hey Dave. I know what you mean. I love that cover.
I love the first one featuring Jackie Gleason.
I like the Jackie Gleason cover best.
Thanks Phoebe. That is a cool cover.
Thanks Drake. I really like that one of Jackie too.
Raquel! Oh, thank you for featuring her LIFE cover. I adore her. She is simply stunning! :)
Hey Erika. You are very welcome. Thanks for enjoying it so much. I love that cover. Raquel is a goddess among women.
Verry cool. I love the Raquel Welch, what a beauty she is.
raquel is super, but i might just have to give it to sinatra!
Sweet selection of magazine covers Keith.
i like the one with raquel. have a fabulous day! : )
Great covers! My fave is 'Sinatra Opens Up'!!
How fun would those mag covers be framed in a rec room?
Hahaha your dog is in cruel danger! Yikes! Oh and I love how using the word "negro" was still PC! Ahhh history! I love this! I love the Frank Sinatra one the "Goodnight and Amen". This is a saweeeet post, Mr. Keith.
Hey Housewife. Thanks. Glad you like the Raquel one. She's one of my biggest crushes from that era.
Hey Drollgirl. Thanks. I do love those Sinatra covers.
Thanks Scott. I'm really glad you enjoyed these covers.
Hey Savvy. Thanks. The one with Raquel definitely seems to be the top favorite.
Hey Gabbi. Thanks. I do like that one.
Hey Kristin. That's a great idea. I'd love to have any of these covers on my wall.
Hey Clare. Thanks. Glad you enjoyed these. It was always neat to see the different titles for articles of the past. Many of them are not always PC.
Love LIFE magazine, my favourite issue has got to be the one where they featured Edie Sedgwick in 1965
Hey Amy. Thanks. I love Life. That one is a good one. There are so many great covers out there. I want to find more to post than just these.
Frank looks so good on both covers!
Thanks Maria. Cheers!
I love the "Negro Stars" covers first and the "Farewell Sinatra" second. The former cover could never happen today (the headline I mean). too many people would be up in arms about it since we're such a sensitive nation nowadays.
Hey JFK. Thanks. I love those covers too. I know what you mean. We live in such a politically correct time that people freak out over almost everything.
Awesome assortment of covers! The young(er) Frankie is definitely my fave. That shot almost looks like someone snapped a photo of him while he was singing.
Thank you so much for all your wonderful comments, Keith. I really hope you're having a marvelous weekend!
♥ Jessica
Hey Jessica. Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed these covers. I do like that one of Sinatra. It does look as if he was singing when the photo was snapped. I'm having a great weekend so far. The family is getting together in a little while for a cookout. Hope you're having an awesome one. Cheers!
