More Music In The Key Of Bond

Last week I posted some movie posters from the James Bond films of Roger Moore. Here are the opening title sequences for those films. There were some really good Bond theme songs during the Moore era. Which of these do you like the best?

Live And Let Die (1973)

The Man With The Golden Gun (1974)

The Spy Who Loved Me (1977)

Moonraker (1979)

For Your Eyes Only (1981)

Octopussy (1983)

A View To A Kill (1985)

I loved looking through these.
Roger Moore is on a TV advert at the moment in the UK, for the Post Office. He looks very old unfortunately... these bring back great memories...
I loved him in The Persuaders with Tony Curtis too... brilliant series.

Keith said...

Hey Shop. Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed these. I didn't know about that commercial. That's so cool. I wonder if it's on YouTube or not. Yeah, he is showing his age.

James Bond themes are just always incredibly produced and composed!

Witchcrafted Life said...

Great songs, each one has the ability to weave into your head and stay there for ages :)

I'd have to say I like The Man with the Golden Gun the best from this selection. Octopussy was actually on TV on Sunday night, I didn't watch it all though, just the first bit, as we were waiting for (the new episode of) Simpsons to start. However now I've got that theme song rattling around in the ol' brain ;D

Wishing you a wonderful day!
♥ Jessica

Keith said...

Hey Man. Thanks for commenting. You are so right about that.

Keith said...

Hey Jessica. Thanks for commenting. Each of these really add to the movie they are a part of. They fit in so well. I love these songs. I'll hum these for days. I know that it's not hard to find a Bond movie on tv.
